Rock Show app update 1.4 is now available and in circulation via the iTunes store Download it now! That’s right, we drop-kicked an update of Rock Show for iPad. We’ve been working to incorporate your feedback to make the app more fun and useful for exploring poster artwork.
While you’ve been marinating, we’ve been adding posters to Rock Show, which now has over 200 different designs. One of our favorite recent additions is Tomer Hanuka’s limited edition print from his MGMT design used in Rolling Stone magazine.
You can now find posters by your favorite bands faster. We’ve added a search bar and recommended list of bands at the top of the Browse menu. The recommended megalist is built by matching what’s in your iPad’s music library with Rock Show’s poster library.
You can now connect Rock Show to Facebook and share your favorite posters as updates to your profile. You can also easily tweet a link to posters you dig with automated tiny urls.
We’ve also improved the Rockshow.fm website. You can now browse the poster details pages on the web by designer and by band name. When you share via Facebook or Twitter, your friends are linked to these details pages. This way they don’t need an iPad to check out your design picks.
Although this is 1.4, we’re just getting started. Install Rock Show today to join the ride.

Rock Show 1.3 is now available!
Download Rock Show from iTunes now!
Rock Show now features over twenty-five poster artists and 175 different poster designs! We’ve been working hard to create a refreshed interface that puts the spotlight on this great artwork. 1.3 also fixes a bug that sometimes caused the app to crash. The loading time is shorter, and we’ve shined up the music playback controls.

Hot on the heals of 1.1, Rock Show version 1.2 is now available for download or update via the iTunes page.
Version 1.2 offers some visual changes, along with a re-arrangement of the tab order on the top of the app. You’ll also find that we’ve added some intelligence to how the app chooses a poster to show you.
In 1.2, if you have music in your iPad’s music library that corresponds to a poster available in Rock Show the app will show you that poster first. For example, currently there is a Modest Mouse poster for sale on Rock Show. So if you have Modest Mouse music in your library, the app will automatically show you that poster.
1.2 also allows you to play back music by bands that are featured on Rock Show posters. The new playback controls let you listen to music while browsing.
As always we’re interested in your feedback on the app. You can reach us by twitter @r0ckshow.
It was exciting to be a part of the grand opening of the Apple iPad event. Like many other developers, we designed our iPad application using the Xcode simulator without the aid of an actual iPad. This meant that there were some bugs in the app that you could see only when handling an actual iPad.
Now that we have the iPad, we’ve made some important bug fixes to Rock Show that improve stability.
You can download the version 1.1 of Rock Show on iTunes. If you already have the app installed on your iPad, simply go to the App Store, tap the Updates tab on the bottom right and choose Rock Show.
